CAD/PLM Automation Supervisor

We seek a skilled CAD Automation Specialist with a robust background in CAD systems, emphasizing NX CAD, Teamcenter Engineering (TcE), and semantic Product Manufacturing Information (PMI). The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of automation experience, including expertise in AI/ML and natural language processing technologies such as ChatGPT. With strong team management skills, the specialist will drive the development of automation solutions, enhancing design efficiency, quality, and incorporating semantic PMI into manufacturing processes.
Direct and manage the CAD automation team, fostering a collaborative environment, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and mentorship. Champion the adoption and development of automation within the NX CAD platform, focusing on the integration of semantic PMI to enhance manufacturing and communication workflows. Ensure seamless CAD automation tool integration with Teamcenter Engineering (TcE) for effective data management and process transition. Apply AI/ML algorithms to process semantic PMI data, improving the automation of design validation, manufacturing preparation, and quality control. Integrate ChatGPT and other natural language processing technologies to create user-friendly interfaces for interacting with semantic PMI within CAD systems. Stay abreast of the latest CAD technology developments, AI/ML innovations, and semantic PMI best practices to maintain cutting-edge automation strategies. Collaborate with various departments to align CAD automation objectives with the broader goals of the engineering and manufacturing teams. Act as the go-to expert on semantic PMI, ensuring accurate representation and interpretation of manufacturing specifications. Uphold stringent quality standards and ensure all automated processes comply with relevant industry regulations. Continually seek opportunities for process improvement, leveraging feedback to drive innovation in CAD automation. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field. At least 10 years of experience in CAD automation, with strong experience in NX CAD, Teamcenter Engineering (TcE), and semantic PMI. Proficient in programming languages relevant to CAD automation, such as Python, C++, or similar, with a proven record of developing custom CAD applications. Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, specifically their application in CAD processes and semantic PMI data analysis. Experience in leveraging natural language processing tools like ChatGPT for enhancing CAD systems and user experience. Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams. Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities. Superior communication skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder management.-
