What impact will you create

As an Integration Specialist you will play avital role in enabling seamless communication between diversesystems and applications through the creation management andoptimization of APIs and data exchange processes. You will ensurethat data flows between applications efficiently and securelysupporting key business processes and enhancing overall operationaleffectiveness. Your expertise in managing APIs and data exchangewill drive system interoperability reliability and the ability toscale operations.


Key Responsibilities

API Developmentand Management:

o Design develop and implementAPIs to enable seamless integration between variousapplications.

o Ensure APIs are scalable secureand optimized for performance supporting realtime and batchprocessing requirements.

o Monitor and maintainAPI performance addressing any issues related to latency dataerrors or outages.

Data Exchange andIntegration:

o Facilitate efficient and reliabledata exchange between internal and external applications ensuringdata consistency and accuracy.

o Build maintainand monitor scheduled jobs for data transfers ensuring smoothoperation of data workflows.

o Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to map data between different systems andcreate solutions for data migration transformation andloading.

System Monitoring andTroubleshooting:

o Develop and implementmonitoring processes for APIs scheduled jobs and data exchangeworkflows.

o Troubleshoot and resolveintegrationrelated issues minimizing downtime and ensuring seamlesscommunication between systems.

o Perform regularaudits and health checks on integration points to ensure dataintegrity and security.

Automation andScheduling:

o Create and manage scheduled jobsfor automated data exchange ensuring jobs run successfully and ontime.

o Optimize automation workflows to reducemanual intervention and improve process efficiency.

o Implement logging and alerting mechanisms to proactivelyidentify and resolve issues with scheduled jobs orintegrations.

Collaboration andDocumentation:

o Work closely with applicationdevelopers database administrators and business analysts to defineintegration requirements and create solutions.

oMaintain comprehensive documentation of all integration points APIsand workflows including version control and updates.

o Communicate integration designs and solutions clearly toboth technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Security and Compliance:

o Ensure that all dataexchanges comply with organizational and regulatory securitystandards.

o Implement best practices for APIsecurity including authentication authorization andencryption.

o Regularly review and updatesecurity protocols to protect sensitive data during integrationprocesses.

Who arewe looking for

Key Skills (Must Have)

Proven experience in designing developing and managingAPIs using REST SOAP or other relevant technologies.

Strong understanding of data exchange methodologiesincluding ETL processes file transfers (FTP SFTP) and realtime datastreaming.

Experience with API managementplatforms and tools (e.g. Postman Swagger Apigee).

Expertise in creating and monitoring scheduled jobs forautomated data exchange processes.

Strongtroubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve integration anddata flow issues.

Familiarity with cloudbasedintegration platforms (e.g. AWS Lambda Azure Logic Apps) anddatabase technologies (SQL NoSQL).

Goodunderstanding of security protocols for data exchange includingOAuth SSL/TLS and encryption techniques.

KeySkills (Nice to Have)

Familiarity with designsystems and atomic design principles.

Experience with animation and interaction design tools (e.g.Principle Framer).

Knowledge of user behaviouranalytics tools such as Hotjar or Google Analytics.

Understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks forcollaborative design and development.


Education

A bachelor s degree in design humancomputer interactionor a related field.

Experience

35 years of experience in UI/UX design with a portfolioshowcasing usercentered designs across multipleplatforms.
