Overview:The ElasticPath Developer plays a crucial role in the design development andmaintenance of ecommerce solutions using the Elastic Path platform.This role is essential in ensuring the seamless functioning ofecommerce systems and delivering a topnotch shopping experience forcustomers.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Collaborate withstakeholders to understand business requirements and translate theminto technical solutions using ElasticPath.
  • Develop and maintain custom solutionswithin the Elastic Path platform to meet specific ecommerceneeds.
  • Integrate thirdparty systems andexternal APIs with the Elastic Path platform to enhancefunctionality.
  • Implement and customizemicroservices for efficient processing and management of ecommercedata.
  • Optimize the performance of the ElasticPath platform and troubleshoot issues as theyarise.
  • Design and implement scalable andresilient ecommerce solutions using ElasticPath.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams toensure seamless operation and integration of various systemcomponents.
  • Stay updated with the latest trendsand best practices in ecommerce and Elastic Pathdevelopment.
  • Provide technical expertise andguidance to junior developers and teammembers.
  • Conduct thorough testing and qualityassurance of Elastic Pathsolutions.
  • Participate in code reviews andcontribute to the overall improvement of developmentprocesses.
  • Document system architecture designand implementation details for reference and futuremaintenance.
  • Work closely with project managersand business analysts to deliver projects on time and withinbudget.
  • Ensure compliance with security anddata privacy standards in all Elastic Pathsolutions.
  • Collaborate with support teams toresolve any production issues related to Elastic Pathsolutions.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.
  • Proven experience in developing andimplementing ecommerce solutions using ElasticPath.
  • Proficiency in Java programming anddevelopment within the Elastic Pathplatform.
  • Demonstrated expertise in APIintegration and web services development forecommerce.
  • Strong understanding ofmicroservices architecture and its application in ecommercesystems.
  • Experience with customizing andextending functionality within the Elastic Pathplatform.
  • Indepth knowledge of best practicesfor ecommerce design security and performanceoptimization.
  • Excellent problemsolving skillsand the ability to troubleshoot complex issues within Elastic Pathsolutions.
  • Ability to work effectively in acollaborative team environment and communicate technical conceptseffectively.
  • Experience with agile softwaredevelopment methodologies andtools.
  • Certifications in Elastic Pathdevelopment or ecommerce technologies are aplus.
