Minimum 5 years ETL experiencereal world experience with SSIS.
Minimum 5 years of experience with SQLserver.
Extensive knowledge andexperience using concepts including but not limitedto:
o StoredProcedures/TSQL
o QueryPerformance Tuning
o DataWarehousing & OLAP
oSource control tools & concepts (CI/CD Git BitbucketGithub)
Practical experience withproperty & casualty insurance/reinsurance and multicurrencysystems is an asset.
Ability toanalyze business and technical specifications and interact with ourbusiness users effectively.
Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity forcommunicating and coordinating work efforts with other employeesandorganizations.

JobDuties:

  • Workwith EDW & Architecture groups to define and implementintegration of new systems andprocesses.
  • Workon Break/Fix and Maintenance service tickets for requests from thegeneral userpopulation.
  • Participatein peer code reviews and adhere to best practice developmentmethodologies.
  • Identifydesign and implement internal process improvements: automatingmanual processes optimizing data delivery redesigninginfrastructure for greater scalability etc.


Qualifications/Skills: Experience with SSIS, SQL Server, SQL,relational database, etc.- 3 to 5 years - Required. Knowledge ofthe Property and casualty Insurance industry is a plus. Ability torecognize past issue patterns and apply them to the existingproblem -resolution process. Initiative-taking, collaborator withthe ability to work and mentor junior resources in differentregions Ability to work with the other groups and lead the ETLsolution. Excellent Analytical, problem-solving, written, and oralcommunication skills Experience with Azure - 0-2 years - good tohave. Experience with Snowflake - 0-2 years - good to have.Comfortable working with complex ETL solutions and large data setsOrganized with Strong written and Verbal communication skills.Familiar with Jira, Confluence, and Agile Processes
