- Manage and supervise all tasks ofhis/her staff to ensure that highest quality service is deliveredand department standards are met
- Review analyzeand suggest improvement of work flow and standards at the FrontDesk
- Analyze rate variance report to ensurerooms revenue control approve discounts andrebates
- Communicate with Front Office Manageron all matters regarding guest services & hoteloperations
- Ensure documentation of all guestrelated issues using the logbook
- Sign media andsupervise shift handover procedures
- Coordinateand communicate with other hotel departments as required regardinggeneral administration and operationsissues
- Provide management presence at all timesby assisting with the handling of guests needs and complaintstactfully and efficiently
- Assist GuestRelations in greeting rooming and sending offguests
- Inspect front of house and back of houseregularly for cleanliness andorderliness
- Ensure that front line staffcomplies with marketing techniques and maximizessales
- Check billing instructions monitor guestcredit and act upon anydiscrepancies
- Coordinate full house situationsand makes all necessary arrangements to handle overbooking andpledge relocates
- Ensure procedures of OnCallValet Desks and driveways are manned at all times and runefficiently
- Ensures the Safety Security andLoss Control policies and procedures are compiled with at the lobbyand driveway. Handle and manage hotelemergencies.
