Gamut HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the field of accounting, specifically in the jewellery industry. As an Accountant - Jewellery, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the jewellery industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Advanced Excel skills


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Process and analyze financial data to prepare accurate and timely reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
  • Conduct regular audits to identify financial discrepancies and implement corrective measures
  • Develop and maintain financial databases and systems
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to management for decision-making purposes
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in financial regulations
