For Dorado Games we areseeking a talented backend developer to be part of theirinterdisciplinary team developing and adding to their new lineup ofonline games starting with CONFLICT OF NATIONS: WORLD WAR 3 andother unannouncedtitles.

Tasks

At Dorado Gamesyou can expect a professional environment utilizing a blend of bothproven and new technologies. Dorados games backend is based on aselfbuilt Java game engine that is interfacing with other serviceswritten in Java and PHP which they constantly extend and improve.Dorados servers are running on a distributed architecture in theGoogle Cloud. Dorados game clients are complex web applicationswritten in TypeScript and making use of the Vue.JS framework.

Your job would be to improve the existingbackend and to create new services around it.

Responsibilities:

  • Developingthe backend for new game features and properly integrating themwith the frontend.
  • Writing code optimized forefficiency and maintainability that follow industry standardsprimarily (but not solely) in Java.
  • Writingtechnical documentation for existing and planned gamefeatures.
  • Collaborating closely with alldepartments and key members to create and deliver an exceptionaland involving online game playexperience.
Requirements

MustHave Skills:

  • 3 yearsexperience
  • Excellent serversideJava
  • SQL knowledge
  • Writingand maintaining highquality scalable and maintainable code adheringto international coding standards and bestpractices
  • Ability to articulate and documenttechnical designs clearly and analytically
  • Goodobject oriented programming skills familiarity with the most commondesign patterns
  • Ability to communicateeffectively and objectively in English
  • Passionfor videogames

  • Experience indeveloping online multiplayer games
