Primary Responsibilities:

Develop a Content Strategy

Construct overall content strategy and editorial calendars around buyer personas, journey, and competitive landscape Conduct market research, technology monitoring, and interviews with SMEs/analysts to identify impactful cloud content topics Map content types and topics to different customer audiences from CIOs to cloud architects Create commercial copy and content for global campaigns and divisional campaigns for websites, ads, social media posts, case studies, newsletters, landing pages, PDFs, eBooks, event content, email campaigns, video scripts, brochures, paid media, etc.

Produce Premium Cloud Content

Write, edit and publish long-form content including articles, eBooks, whitepapers, case studies Make complex cloud infrastructure topics easy to digest through simplified yet expert narratives

Optimize Content for High Visibility

Integrate SEO best practices into all cloud content Perform ongoing keyword research and competitor analysis Implement metadata schema, alt text, structured data for findability

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work closely with SMEs and practice leaders on positioning and messaging Partner with commercial team on campaigns and assets Coordinate with designers and developers on content presentation

Guard Brand Voice and Improve Processes

Continue upholding consistent and engaging brand voice Identify process improvement areas and lead new initiatives

Contribute to Company-Wide Content Efforts

Support requests from Partnerships, Talent Marketing and Communications as needed Perform copyediting tasks across content

Role Requirements

10+ years of experience as a leader in B2B content 4+ years of experience in writing content for cloud technology Deep understanding of public/private cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Strong portfolio showcasing published cloud infrastructure articles, eBooks, and case studies Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, Software Development, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities Natural curiosity to stay updated on cloud computing trends and technologies Strategic thinker able to map content to customer journeys Strong time management and organizational skills Collaborative team player across technology, sales, and marketing roles Impeccable attention to detail and flawless grammar/editing skills Self-driven leader who guides multiple writers Ability to simplify complex technical topics into compelling narratives Understanding of SEO best practices
