About the team

As part of the larger Banking Solutions IT Platform Application Support, our team is at the forefront of supporting FIS’ Banking & Payment Applications.  We use industry-leading technologies, applications, automation and processes to deliver and support FIS IT technologies.

What you will be doing

  • Help to implement SRE Principles & Practices and Application Support with Engineering mindset in Application Production Support team
  • Going to work on breadth of technologies, should be ready to learn / exhibit breadth of technologies to understand the systems and implement SRE practices
  • Understand complete echo system andMandatory participation in Triages/Root cause analysis of issues and plan for fixing them
  • Work as per SLI, SLO and Error Budgets. Identification and reduction of TOIL,SRE Tools,  Automation and AI/ML
  • Cover application stability, uptime and performance with Monitoring and Observability.Chaos Engineering
  • Participate in Technical discussions with Architects / Dev / DBA / SysAdmin etc teams to ensure adoption of SRE Principles in building Secure and Reliable systems

What you bring:

  • 7+ years experience in devops,Docker,Kubernetes ,CI,CD ,Jenkins
  • Applications servers WebSphere (Added advantage - JBOSS, Tomcat and IIS).
  • Web servers (Apache, IBM HTTP Server, etc..)
  • Linux / Unix commands.
  • Experience in Monitoring Tools: Splunk, Dynatrace, Control-m.
  • Experience in SSL Certificates Management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle/MSSQL Database
  • Should be willing to work in 24/7 shift rotational shift as On-call for weekdays and weekends
  • Network applications and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Scripting – Shell, Python (Added Advantage – PowerShell).
  • Automation - CI/CD concepts – Jenkins
  • Windows Servers
  • CI/CD tools – OpenShift, Kubernetes.

 Added bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge of Cloud Systems (Azure / AWS)
