Compute Security & Compliance team is responsible for OS level vulnerability remediation and Secured configuration deployment for American Express Linux & Windows Servers environment . The Sr Infrastructure Engineer position will provide day to day operational leadership and support for Linux Servers, patching, configuration deployments, vulnerability remediations and troubleshooting issues.

.NET framework and C#

Minimum Qualifications

10+ years proven experience of managing various Linux platforms. 5+ years experience with tools to manage, patch and support Linux operations Skilled in Linux patching process, troubleshooting issues and scripting (shell, Ansible etc) Self-motivation and strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are key attributes for this position Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines (work under pressure and prioritize tasks) Strong analytical and problem solving techniques Experience with servers management in VMware is preferred Bachelors in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or equivalent experience preferred
