Were seeking a SeniorGenerative AI Engineer with a minimum of 3 years experience and aknack for leadership to join our team. This role involvesdeveloping advanced GenAIbased applications managing projects andleadingteams.

ATypical Day for a Senior Generative AI Engineer at AugustInfotech:

  • MorningRoutine:

    • Check emailsmessages and projectrelatednotifications.

    • Plan the day prioritize tasks andreview the progress of ongoingprojects.

  • ProjectManagement:

    • Review pending tasks from theprevious day and prioritizethem.

    • Review the project roadmap tasks andgoals for ongoingprojects.

    • Discuss new requirements changes orchallenges with the projectteam.

    • Coordinate with backend developersfrontend developers and otherstakeholders.

  • Development and CodeReview:

    • Review codewritten by junior/intermediate developers for quality security andadherence to bestpractices.

    • Address bugs issues or technicaldebt.

    • Develop and customize Pythonapplications mainly using frameworks like Django orFlask.

    • Create API endpoints optimizedatabase queries or implement new features usingPython.

  • ClientCommunication:

    • Communicate with clients to provideproject updates discuss requirements and address questions orconcerns.

  • Testing andDebugging:

    • Performthorough testing of new features or changes to ensure functionalityperformance andcompatibility.

    • Debug and resolve issues orinconsistencies that arise duringtesting.

  • ProjectManagement Tools:

    • Update project management tools ortask boards to reflect the progress and completion oftasks.

    • Estimate the time required forupcoming tasks and planaccordingly.

  • EndofDayRoutine:

    • Wrap upongoing tasks commit code changes and ensure a clean and organizedworkspace.

    • Reflect on the days accomplishmentschallenges and areas forimprovement.

  • Architectural Design andProblemSolving:

    • Work on architectural design tasksdiscussing and planning software components to meet projectrequirements and scalabilityneeds.

    • Solve complex technical challengesduring development.

    • Optimize code to improve applicationperformance scalability and loadtimes.

  • Mentorship:

    • Mentor junior/intermediatedevelopers providing guidance and support to help them grow andimprove their skills.



Requirements

Skillsand Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree inComputer Science Engineering or a relatedfield.

  • Minimum three years of softwaredevelopment experience focusing on Azure AI Services Generative AIand Python.

  • Minimum six months of handsonexperience with Generative AItechnologies.

  • Proficient in Python frameworks suchas Django or Flask.

  • Experience with Azure cloudservices.

  • Strong understanding of machinelearning principles andtechniques.

  • Familiarity with natural languageprocessing (NLP) and computervision.

  • Proficient in using libraries andtools such as TensorFlow PyTorch orsimilar.

  • Strong problemsolving skills andability to thinkcritically.

  • Excellent communication andcollaboration skills.

  • Experience with version controlsystems like Git.

Nice to HaveSkills:

  • Experience with other cloudplatforms such as Azure or GoogleCloud.

  • Knowledge of additional programminglanguages such as C# R Java orScala.

  • Proficiency in database managementsystems including SQL and NoSQLdatabases.

  • Familiarity with softwaredevelopment best practices andmethodologies.

  • Understanding of microservicesarchitecture and containerization technologies like Docker orKubernetes.

  • Enhanced presentation skills foreffectively conveying complexfindings.
