UXUI Designer

The UX/UI Designer willcontribute to various design deliverable needs for companysproduct. This UX/UI Designer will also guide the creation of adesign system for the same product including the maintenance of acomponent library in preparation for the product sexpansion.
This role requiresprior experience working with and contributing to design systemsand fluency with Figma. The ideal candidate should be comfortableadvocating for the design system and articulating clearly thebenefits and value of the system during product team meetings andto other internal stakeholders at the company. The ideal candidatewill collaborate with developers to further bestpractice codinginitiatives based on the design system. The UX/UI Designer willalso tackle the shared responsibilities of the design team duringdevelopment sprints asneeded.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work effectively and oneonone with Technical and NonTechnical teammembers and customers
Overseeand maintain accountability for the successful creation andmaintenance of the design system
Take the primary role on enterprise level projects with minimaldirection from a director or engagement manager
Effectively facilitate meetingsdemonstrate brainstorming and interact with team members across theproduct development spectrum
Be astrong and continuous advocate for the value of strong design and aconsistent user experience across our growing product lines
Be curious about ongoing productresearch and able to integrate research insights into designdecisions

RequirementsMUSTHAVE:
A technicalbackground including a bachelors degree and 5 to 8 years ofexperience in a designrelated area
Previous experience creating andmaintaining a design system from scratch
Fluent proficiency in Figma orother prototyping and design tools
Basic understanding of at leastone programming language (e.g. JavaScript C# etc.)
Experience working withdevelopers and designers
NICE TO HAVE:
Experience working in SaaSsoftware specifically designing for B2B
Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills
The abilityto learn quickly think creatively and work independently
A team player attitude stronginterpersonal skills and the ability to take a leadership role whennecessary
A high level oforganization with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply newconcepts business models andtechnologies
