Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Canadian Tax Preparer to join our team at TeamBuilderz. As a Canadian Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns for our clients. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in Canadian tax preparation. The job is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and is a full-time position.


Qualifications and Skills


  • 4 to 6 years of experience in Canadian tax preparation
  • Proficient in T2 and T1 tax preparation
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations
  • Experience with tax software and relevant tools
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional certification or designation in taxation is preferred


Roles and Responsibilities



  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with Canadian tax laws and regulations
  • Developed expertise in accounting, taxation, and tax preparation, ensuring accurate and compliant financial processes
  • Utilized strong analytical skills to finalize statements and reports, providing detailed insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Conducted bookkeeping and account reconciliation, as well as managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Prepared corporate tax returns (T-2) and individual tax returns (T-1) for Canadian clients.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing HST returns for Canadian clients.
  • Communicated with Canadian clients to resolve their issues and provide solutions.
  • Gather and analyze financial data from clients to accurately complete tax forms
  • Identify and apply tax credits, deductions, and exemptions to minimize tax liabilities
  • Research tax issues and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
  • Communicate with clients to obtain necessary information and address any tax-related questions or concerns
  • Assist in resolving tax audits and other tax-related inquiries
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to professional ethics and standards
  • Collaborate with team members and provide guidance and support when needed
