Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Wood Painter to join our team at Gamut HR Solutions. As a Senior Wood Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and finishes to wooden surfaces to enhance their appearance and protect them from damage. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in wood painting.

• Proven experience as a Wood Painter with 4 to 6 years of experience
• Ability to use various painting tools and equipment
• Good knowledge of different types of wood and finishes
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to carry out manual tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare wood surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing them
• Apply paint, stain, or other finishes to wood surfaces
• Ensure an even and smooth coat of paint on wooden surfaces
• Use various painting techniques to achieve desired effects
• Mix and match colors to create custom finishes
• Apply sealers and topcoats to protect finished wood surfaces
• Inspect and repair damaged or chipped paint or finishes
• Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
