Job Brief:Weare seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior PlacementOfficer with an extensive background in the aviation industry tojoin our team. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 10years of toplevel experience within the aviation sector and arobust network of industry contacts to effectively facilitate theplacements of our students in various roles within the aviationfield.
Responsibilities:
Utilize extensive knowledge and expertise in the aviation industryto establish and maintain relationships with key industry playersincluding airlines aviation service providers regulatory bodies andother relevant stakeholders.
Develop and executeplacement strategies tailored to individual student career goalsensuring a high rate of successful placements.
Act as a liaison between our educational institution and theaviation industry maintaining constant communication and networkingto identify placement opportunities forstudents.
Provide guidance and mentorship tostudents offering insights into the industry CV/resume buildinginterview techniques and career development.
Manage and maintain a database of industry contacts job openingsand student placement progress.
Organize CampusInterviews industry events and networking sessions to enhanceopportunities for student placements.
Collaborate with the institutions Acadmeic team to develop anddeliver workshops seminars and training programs that enhancestudents employability within the aviationsector.
SkillsRequired:
A minimum of10 years of highlevel experience in the aviation industry with acomprehensive understanding of various aviation sectors includingbut not limited to airlines maintenance repair and overhaul(MRO)and regulatory bodies.
Proven track recordin establishing and maintaining a vast network of industry contactsthat can be leveraged for student placements.
Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills toeffectively interact with students industry professionals andinternal stakeholders.
Strong organizationalskills with the ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously.
Adept at career coaching resumebuilding and interview preparation for individuals seekingplacement opportunities.
Bachelors degree in arelevant field; additional certifications or qualifications incareer counseling or HR areadvantageous.
