Job Description:
Job Summary
This position evaluates, designs, develops, tests, performs maintenance, and supports UPS technology assets. He/She contributes to the evaluation, design, testing, implementation, maintenance, performance, capacity tuning, and support of third-party infrastructures, applications, and appliances (i.e., transaction, collaboration, communications protocols, application delivery, virtualization, and directory services). This position executes processes to improve the reliability, efficiency, and availability of the systems environment.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a subject matter expert for administration, maintenance, customization, and support of workforce automation tools to increase organizational efficiency.
- Utilizes basic templates and tools for activities and duties of low risk, minimal impact, low complexity, and scope.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline - Preferred
- Prior Knowledge of Windows Operating System
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Primary Skills:
3 to 5 years of experience in Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise level authentication systems and services for a complex organization - Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), ADFS Web Application Proxy (WAP)
• Mid-level experience writing scripts and automation solutions to manage Active Directory and Entra ID
• Mid-level experience tracking and resolving incidents via ticket queue.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Secondary Skills:
Responsibilities
• Provide support for implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining of identity management systems.
• Administer, operate, and maintain authentication systems and services - Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Azure Active Directory Connect (AADC), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), ADFS Web Application Proxy (WAP)
• Administer Microsoft Windows Active Directory domains using standard Microsoft snap-ins such as Active Directory Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services, and others, as necessary.
• Provide Active Directory group policy support.
• Creation/modification/deletion of all Active Directory objects
• Create/modify scripts and run specific PowerShell commands and scripts to administer the Authentication platforms.
• Perform System Administrator functions on the identity platform by assisting in developing and delivering process improvements in alignment with business and technical requirements with continuous enhancement maturing the identity lifecycle capabilities.
• Escalate issues to Microsoft Premier support if needed by creating a ticket and managing it till remediation.
