What You’ll Do

Lead payroll accounting activities, including payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.Perform monthly payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations, including but not limited to payroll accruals, benefits, taxes, and employee deductions.Liaise with the Payroll processing team to understand global monthly activitiesPerform various GL month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationPrepare Balance Sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses and ability to dive into the details to further investigate any variancesAssist in preparing internal and external financial reporting schedulesEvaluate process and system infrastructure, along with identifying and implementing process improvement opportunitiesMaintain and enhance the internal controls over accounting processes and systemsSupport the quarterly reviews and annual audit requests and inquiries from our external auditorsInput and support various accounting projects and requests, as needed

Your Background

1-3 years of post-qualification experience in accounting rolesBachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.Proven history and ability to complete complex accounting reconciliations and journal entriesProficiency in utilizing various data systems to extract, assess, and analyze data.Strong analytical skills, with the capability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teamsExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in implementing best practices for financial operations Well-versed in Excel, Powerpoint and working knowledge of ERP accounting software (Netsuite is a plus)Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, accounting, tax, global complianceUnderstanding of Highspot's industry and sales enablement solutions is a plusChartered Accountant qualification is preferred, not mandatory#LI-KT1
