Primary Responsibilities:

Customer Focus: Work with product manager and business to obtain voice of customer (VOC) and identify capabilities to add to the productDefine and provide direction for user experience and user interface (if applicable to product)Create user documentation (if applicable to product)Create and communicate the value proposition via internal marketing material for product promotion Designs, develops, and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of lifeResponsible for the full product lifecycle management, with a technical focus, including strategy, design, development, management, and end of life of new, existing or acquisition productsLeverage market insights to understand market/customer needs as well as emerging technology developments and trends to identify new opportunities or make adjustments to current product offeringsBalances deep subject matter expertise in the product, business use cases and strong technical aptitudeAccountable for delivering product performance against expectations and updates changes to a product portfolio to improve competitive position, and optimal product performance to meet customer and market needsAccountable to and/or own the P&LResponsible for cross-functional stakeholder management to include but not limited to design, engineering, scrum teams, business leaders, etc., functioning as technical expert with a fluency in development concepts and modern development practicesPositions in this function may require a background or degree in computer science or engineeringReviews the work of othersDevelops innovative approachesSought out as expertServes as a leader/ mentorComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree with 10+ yrs of experienceSound Healthcare background and product knowledgeProduct Management Discipline In-depth understanding of lean product management best practices and frameworksUnderstand capabilities across the portfolio / product lineNot prescriptive, with theoretical definitions of what’s needed in every scenario. Instead, you consider the challenge, dependencies, constraints, and apply the right tools based on your knowledge of various product management methodologies/frameworksUnderstands cross customer deliverables between product linesPartners appropriately to support dependenciesPartners appropriately across the portfolio to minimize overlapping workEnsures high-level roadmap alignment across portfolios where requiredEffectively looks ‘up and out’ to influence multiportfolio capabilities and their dependencies; enables on-time delivery via manageable features/stories coordinated across teamsNegotiates win-win solutions across teams and lines of business (cross application / cross portfolio)Communicates effectively with all senior stakeholders (up to Senior Leadership)Clearly communicates strategic portfolio direction via multi-year roadmap
