Weare looking for a competent Caregiverto care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner.It’s an often demanding job as you will have to beavailable for most of the day and week. But it can also be verysatisfying and rewarding since people who are ill injured disabledor elderly are thankful for highquality assistance.

The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly withexcellent communication skills. You should be able to followinstructions and perform a variety of tasks to helpclients.

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around thehouse or outside (doctor’s appointments walksetc.)
• Assist clients with personal care andhygiene
• Help clients with physical therapyexercises
• Plan and prepare meals withassistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them whenthey shop
• Perform light housekeeping dutiesthat clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Actquickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

• Proven experience as acaregiver
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid(CPR)
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities andcooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Willingness to adhere to health and safetystandards
• Respectful andcompassionate
• Good time managementskills
• Outstanding communication andinterpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance
• High schooldiploma or equivalent
