Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity andDisaster Recovery Coordinator to join our dynamic team in thetechnology sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensiveexperience in business continuity planning disaster recoveryplanning and IT service management. They will be responsible forensuring our organizations resilience in the face of potentialdisasters or disruptions minimising downtime and ensuring thecontinuity of critical business operations.

Job Roles Responsibilities & Goals:
Develop implement and maintain comprehensive business continuityand disaster recovery plans and procedures.
Conductregular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identifypotential vulnerabilities and prioritise mitigation efforts.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to develop andmaintain IT service continuity plans and procedures.
Establish and maintain communication protocols to ensure timelyresponse and recovery in the event of a disaster or disruption.
Lead and facilitate disaster recovery exercises andsimulations to test the effectiveness of plans and procedures.
Collaborate with external partners vendors andstakeholders to enhance the organizations resilience and responsecapabilities.
Monitor industry trends and emergingthreats to improve continuously business continuity and disasterrecovery strategies.
Provide training and awarenessprograms to ensure all employees understand their roles andresponsibilities in the event of a disaster ordisruption.


Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science informationtechnology or a related field.
10 years of experience inbusiness continuity planning disaster recovery planning and ITservice management.
Proven track record of successfullydeveloping and implementing business continuity and disasterrecovery plans in a technology environment.
Strongproject management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks andmanage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellentanalytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention todetail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skillswith the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels ofthe organization.
Relevant certifications such as CBCP(Certified Business Continuity Professional) or equivalent arepreferred.
