Job Overview:-

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Editor cum Compositor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of film and video editing, with advanced knowledge of compositing techniques. You will be responsible for bringing our client's visions to life through high-quality editing and compositing, ensuring that every piece of content is visually compelling, seamless, and aligns with the client's goals. This role requires someone with a strong eye for detail, who can work efficiently,under tight deadlines and adapt to the fast-paced demands of the marketing and advertising industry.

Requirements● Video Editing:
○ Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring a coherent narrative, pacing, and rhythm.
○ Work on various types of video content including marketing videos, explainer videos, motion graphics, and live-action videos.
○ Apply industry-standard editing principles, such as continuity editing, montage, and match cuts, to enhance storytelling.
○ Collaborate with the production team to understand project objectives and ensure alignment with creative vision.
○ Work with various video formats, including HD, 4K, and other digital formats.

● Compositing:
○ Integrate live-action footage with CGI, visual effects, or motion graphics to create seamless final compositions.
○ Perform tasks such as rotoscoping, keying, tracking, and color correction 
○ Ensure all visual elements are combined effectively, maintaining consistency in lighting, color grading, and overall aesthetic.
○ Troubleshoot and solve any compositing issues that may arise during the post-production process.

● Cinematography Knowledge:
○ Apply principles of cinematography, including framing, shot composition, and camera movement, to enhance the visual storytelling.
○ Work closely with the cinematographer and director to ensure that the visual tone and style are consistent throughout the project.

● Marketing & Explainer Videos:
○ Create engaging and visually compelling marketing videos that align with the client's brand and messaging.
○ Edit explainer videos that effectively communicate complex ideas in a simple and digestible format.
○ Design and animate motion graphics elements to enhance the overall visual appeal of marketing and explainer content.

● Technical Expertise: ○ Stay updated with the latest industry trends, software, and technologies in editing and compositing.
○ Proficient in industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and other relevant tools.
○ Optimize videos for different platforms, ensuring that final outputs meet the required technical specifications.

● Collaboration & Communication:
○ Work closely with the creative team, including animators, designers, and directors, to ensure all elements are integrated smoothly.
○ Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into the final product.
○ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Requirements:

● Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of professional experience in video editing and compositing.
● Industry Experience: Previous experience working in a video production company or a similar fast-paced environment is highly preferred.

● Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing/compositing software.
  
•  Strong understanding of visual effects, motion graphics, and color grading techniques.
  
•  Experience with marketing videos, explainer videos, and motion graphics editing.
  
•  Experience with 3D compositing and integration is a plus.
  
•  Cinematography: Strong understanding of cinematography principles and how they apply to editing and compositing.
  
•  Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail, with a passion for creating visually stunning content.
  
•  Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  
•  Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and feedback to clients and team members.
  
•  Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
