Reporting to Product & Innovation Control Manager – Commercial Banking in India, you will be part of an agile, future focused, and collaborative team. On any day of the week, you might assess the operational strengths and vulnerabilities involved in a recent acquisition, design enhancements to our business platform to support new and existing products, deep dive into an advanced technology solution built with machine learning to drive process improvement, or proactively identify and respond to high profile issues or emerging risks of utmost importance to C-suite level committees. 

As a PICM (Product, Innovation & Change management) Control Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and controlled development of technology and product solutions within commercial banking at JP Morgan & Chase. You will identify and escalate issues with a sense of urgency, and partner with the business to ensure issues are remediated in a timely manner. The team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation of issues/risks/incidents arising as a result of automation/technological development within PICM space.

Job responsibilities:

Govern change risk assessment process for new/changes coming into PICM from various sources including new products/automation, regulatory changes, emerging technology, process changes, new migrations etc.  Deliver risk and control efforts for WLS. Efforts include and are not limited to:Performing Risk and Control process reviews / deep dives Leading risk assessment and mitigation effortsProcessing risk and control expertise on WLS Technology related effortsAnalyzing Data Quality risk efforts Maintain the PICM Process, Risk and Controls strategy and approach for continuous improvement and evolution of controls and risk management. Maintain and manage system of records for risk and control assessment.  Coordinate with Information Security Managers, Product Owners, and other risk partners to assess various technology related changes. Implement and oversee application of approved change management framework/standard across PICM teams.  Lead various special risk and control projects that support WLS functional teams, CB Legal, CB Controls and other key stakeholders in ongoing efforts. Deliver accurate status reports and appropriate risk reporting for monthly reviews. Maintain awareness of significant risk and control issues within the business and integrate as appropriate into efforts. Maintain awareness of significant changes impacting the business, both internally and externally, and ensure appropriate actions to accommodate or address within ongoing efforts. Provide relevant support to 2nd/ 3rd lines of defense and Audit/Regulatory teams in risk and control domain.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: 

Engineering Degree and/or MBA with Technology Product management experience.  6-10 years of relevant experience in financial services/Other Sectors or compensatory experience in Technology/Tech Risk, Product Management and/or Cyber/Information Security. Familiarity with Six Sigma/Process improvement methodologies Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
