Location:
TMB has offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, London and Gurgaon. This role will be based out of our Gurgaon office, and you will have the flexibility to work in the office and from home.
About the Role:
The Creative Director for TMB’s India DesignWorks team is a collaborative leader responsible for overseeing the motion designers, graphic designers and photo researchers assigned to the company’s digital, video and print products. Reporting to the VP/Creative, you apply your design expertise and leadership skills to ensure the team’s creative processes result in quality, on-brand visual direction that meets the demands of our brands and business.

Thoughtful and practical, you know how to parcel out your time to drive the results needed for the business and you are comfortable delegating work and spotting opportunities to optimize resources.
Your Day-to-Day: Manage the art directors and designers who create visual assets for TMB’s digital, video and print products Understand the capacity of each team to identify ways to provide cross-brand support Provide ongoing constructive feedback to you to ensure their work meetings product and brand standards; mentor managers and team members to build skills and autonomy Actively participate in the TMB Design Leadership Group, a team that meets monthly to elevate overall design-thinking within the company, with associate creative director of digital and motion graphics design Contribute to product innovation for TMB’s brands, routinely bringing new ideas to the table as way to expand the breadth and depth of each brand offerings You Have: A bachelor’s degree in graphic design 10+ years of design experience, ideally in digital or video graphic design but with some experience in print At least five years’ experience managing a high-performance team Demonstrated success in building and maintaining positive relationships with design, editorial and production team members to deliver creative products that drive successful business results Strong collaborative skills and eagerness to partner with business unit leaders to enhance brand opportunities A network of freelance designers, illustrators and other creative talent to tap into assignments An organized, thorough and deadline-oriented approach to working with an ability to recognize when a content product or experience is ready to move forward A “we” not “me” leadership style that encourages the open sharing of ideas, strategies and successes Experience with content production tools such Adobe Create Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) Experience working with AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools like ChatGPT, MidJourney and the Firefly features within the Adobe Creative Suite About This Team:
