Marketing Manager – Sports Events

Job Description
ITEN Media is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to spearhead marketing efforts
with a strong focus on building and managing corporate partnerships, sponsorship deals, brand
collaborations, and non-profit partnerships for its sports events.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure corporate sponsorships and partnerships for sports
    events. Develop customized partnership packages that offer value to both ITEN Media
    and its partners.
  • Design and execute strategic marketing plans that target potential sponsors and
    partners. This includes identifying key industries, brands, and corporate stakeholders
    that align with the event’s objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for sports events, aligning with
    business objectives and target audiences.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all marketing materials, event promotions, and
    communications.
  • Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging marketing collateral, including
    event brochures, press releases, videos, and social media posts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and secure strategic partnerships,
    sponsorship deals, and brand collaborations for events.
  • Manage event-specific promotional activities including influencer marketing, public
    relations, email campaigns, and partnerships with media outlets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with event attendees, sponsors, partners, and media to
    ensure successful event outcomes.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Masters in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related
    field.
  • 1-2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the sports, entertainment, or event
    management industry.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Creative thinking with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in marketing sports-related events or working in a sports marketing agency.
  • Proficiency in marketing tools like Google Analytics, social media management
  • platforms, CRM systems (Zoho), and email marketing software.
  • Knowledge of sports industry trends and audience preferences.
  • Event management experience is a plus.
