Provide buyers (or potential buyers)with a seamless experience whether they re buying in abrickandmortar store or online from adesktop or mobile device.RoleResponsibilities Set up channel partnerslike distributors and continuously engage with them to grow thebusiness.Further formulate &implement a distribution model with increased focus on costoptimizationandefficiency.Involve in the strategic management and decisionmaking processafter the detailed market analysisfor thebusiness expansion. Negotiate and finalizebusiness deals including lease agreements at the most beneficialcommercialtermsFormulate pricing policies by reviewing merchandise activitiesdetermining additional salespromotionauthorization stock clearance and studying trends within theallocated budget. Market merchandise bystudying advertising sales promotions display plans analyzingoperatingand financial statements forprofitability ratios. Liaise with variousteams including supply chain customer success and finance to ensurerange andstock levels are consistent withbusiness requirements. Undertake storeevaluation process by analyzing new retail locations andrecommending viableoptions according to thedistribution strategy. Developing strategieson brand tie up and BTL activities visavis competition /distributor in sameline ofproducts. Be the voice of the field / Feeton the street sales team. Recommend product lines byidentifyingnew product opportunitiessurveying customer needs trends and trackingcompetitors.WorkExperience15 years of work experience insimilar profile.Knowledge/SkillsCore expertise in offline retail(ideally in an early growth story phase of theorganization).Should have handled a diverse& distributed field salesforce.Highlevel of ownership willingness to set up things from scratch highemotional intelligence.Strong sense ofpersonal ownership and bias foraction.Excellent communicationskillsStrong People managementskillsStrong business acumen with goodunderstanding of overallFinance &operationsEducationPostgraduate/ MBA from a reputedinstitute
