POSITIONSUMMARY

BOT VFX apostproduction services company in the entertainment industry withglobal clients is looking for a midlevel position BusinessIntelligence Lead on a permanent role basis. This role involvesmanaging aligning and ordering the data / reporting / analyticrequirements against the business priorities while working on thedevelopment of these requirements and overseeing the implementationof solutions. This role reports to the COO.
The candidatemust have experience relating to data modeling & analysissystems and business process analysis as well as Dashboarding.
POSITIONRESPONSIBILITY

  • BusinessIntelligence
  1. Interpretingand acting upon multiple reporting and analyticalrequests.
  2. Define Design Develop the necessarycore reporting architecture to enable appropriate automatedBusiness Intelligence software solutions with emphasis on Tableau.Work with the necessary key stakeholders in BOTVFX to ensuredelivery roadmap.
  3. Business expert in knowledgeof data sets data structure software capabilities and existing DAsolutions.
  4. Procure budget and maintain thenecessary BI Licenses (Tableau) to relevant users and keystakeholders.
  5. Manage full development cycleincluding Proof of Concept Creation of Reports/dashboards usertesting and rollout.
  • ReportingRequirement
  1. Collaboratewith the data/ reporting owners to fully define document and gainfunctional sign off for reporting requirements.
  2. Analyze all complex data business logicprocesses and identify requirements for business enhancement in aproject.
  3. Perform assessment on all reportingrequirements and develop long term strategy for various reportingsolutions.
  4. Align multiple requirements toensure data and development is optimized for maximumbenefit.
  • DataArchitecture
  1. Preparearchitecture for data prepare strategies and provide businessobject solutions as per requirements.
  2. Manageall data for transactional sources to enable effectivereports/Dashboards.
  3. Plan and maintaindevelopment roadmap for datawarehouse.
  • Ad Hoc /Support
  1. Manage theresolution of BI reporting issues by engaging with respective dataprocess system owners and vendors to address issues impacting dayto day operations of stakeholders.
  2. Work closelywith different departments to support their ad hoc analytical BIreporting requirements.

REQUIREDSKILLS

  • Hand onexperience in SQL (MS SQL is desirable) Tableau MS Excelformula/macros.
  • Excellent understanding of datamodeling & data structure. Understand complex data and createbusiness logics.
  • Stakeholder Management able tofoster strong relationships at all levels both internally andexternally including seniorleadership
  • Understanding and adherence to keyInformation Security Best Practice.
  • ProjectManagement experience running BI projects.
  • Strong communication skills able to tailor tonontechnical users and multiculturalteam
  • Detail oriented.
