Job Description

:

Role – Within the Valuation team, Valuation Analyst will assist in valuing a multibillion-dollar block of derivatives and complex securities portfolio, with the opportunity to grow into a significant value-add role as a valuation expert.

Skills/Capabilities

Ability to understand financial analysis / investments / valuation process Basic Maths / Quants knowledge Analytical ability to evaluate data trends and performance Proficient on MS Excel and MS Office Ability to learn fast and replicate the best practices Ability to learn via remote trainings and effectively deliver the same Decision making ability supported with data Able to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines Exhibit people management and leadership skills Demonstrate problem solving abilities Ability to “think on your feet” Analytical with high attention to details Knowledge of client management / stakeholder management

Responsibilities

Valuation Operations: Assist in the operations of the Private Fixed Income valuation process, on a daily and monthly basis Ad-hoc Analysis: Fixed Income valuation related, operational and production issues Liaison with North American Valuation and possibly other teams (Operations and Accounting) for reporting, troubleshooting data and process issues Consult with various teams on a wide range of Fixed Income, and analytical requests

Education and Experience

Graduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Math, Computer or Data Science, or any related field of study, Full time MBA (Finance) will be an advantage Around 2 – 4 years of experience in valuation of equity securities. Interest in Financial analysis / investments Sound knowledge of Bloomberg database Nice to have - Matlab / Matlab programming, VBA / python / programming, Database / SQL Big Plus - Knowledge of Fixed Income / Basic derivatives, various Swaps, Bond DCF or Valuation knowledge / experience, Aladdin / Blackrock systems, Finastra-Summit
