Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate is a fast learner with strong adaptability, excellent communication skills, and a talent for building client relationships. They should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, working effectively both independently and in collaboration with key stakeholders.

Need-to-Have Skills:

Technical Proficiency:

·         4+ years of hands-on experience with Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
·         In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle (design, development, deployment).
·         Proficient with code versioning tools, particularly Git.
·         Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integration.
·         Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, Azure, or GCP.
·         Familiarity with databases (both SQL and NoSQL, e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB).
·         Awareness of the latest technology trends in backend and data processing technologies.
·         Systems thinking ability.


Good-to-Have Skills:
·         Experience with tools like Pandas, Matplotlib, and Seaborn for handling data-related tasks.
·         Familiarity with libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch for future data science integrations.
·         Knowledge of building and consuming GraphQL APIs alongside REST APIs.
·         Understanding platforms like AWS Lambda or Azure Functions for deploying serverless apps.
·         Experience with services like Firebase or AWS Amplify to support mobile application development.
·         Basic knowledge of Elasticsearch or Solr for implementing advanced search features.
·         Proficiency in Shell scripting or Bash for automation tasks.
·         Awareness of blockchain concepts if working in fintech or modern applications.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Development and Implementation:
    • Design, develop, and maintain robust Python applications and backend services.
    • Build reusable code and libraries for scalability and efficiency.
    • Develop and integrate APIs to support frontend and third-party services.
  1. Collaboration and Integration:
    • Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, PMs, QAs, and other stakeholders.
    • Participate in software architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
    • Integrate data storage solutions and ensure smooth interaction with relational and non-relational databases.
  1. Optimization and Maintenance:
    • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
    • Implement best practices for code quality, maintainability, and reusability.
    • Perform troubleshooting and debug issues to ensure robust application functionality.
  1. Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain high standards of code quality through testing (unit tests, integration tests).
    • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and responsiveness requirements.
    • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.


Requirements
