reporting requirements). Partners with the business, legal and Finance partners to review existing
intercompany transactions and develop processes for the effective efficient recording of transactions
that are consistent with agreements and other governing agencies such as SEC, NAIC and bank
regulators. Lead / assist on enterprise / team projects (i.e., new accounting standards, system projects,
etc.) as needed. Possess a working understanding of the Transfer pricing concepts and regulations, cost
allocation methods, allocation shared cost, such as overhead expenses how they are shared between the
departments, understand complex legal entities structure, understand and interpret the intercompany
agreements, rules and knowledge of intercompany billing.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of Intercompany activity for multiple companies Responsible for owning/revisiting the intercompany agreements driven due to business decisions and creating/owning a centralized repository. Responsible to facilitate accurate recording of intercompany transactions, reconciliation and ensuring settlement of the transactions. Possess good understanding of the Intercompany allocation process- understand driver/basis of allocation, cost center, product/sub-product, market group linkages. Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and streamline the intercompany process and improve efficiency in recording and accuracy in reporting. Has knowledge SOX controls and SEC compliances with respect to intercompany billings. Enhance KPIs to improve productivity and service quality Lead or assist on enterprise and team projects as needed including development and documentation of procedures and establishment of controls. Partner with management to proactively seek innovation and process improvements to enhance efficiencies and improve controls of processes. Provide people leadership to global team members. Provide performance feedback, seeks professional development opportunities for each and provides the coaching.
