Objective:This position will partner closely with Division Indiacrossfunctional team and global/regional Procurement functions.Primary responsibility is to ensure Indias external purchases arestrategically sourced & negotiated for the best fit ofdelivery and cost benefits. Other responsibilities will includeensuring Procurement guidelines and policies are adhered for allpurchases. The candidate must be detailoriented analyticalorganized objective and successful in implementing improvementprojects with minimum supervision. Tasks&Responsibilities:

• Lead andmanage country Procurement overall Procure to Pay (PtP) tasks andactivities including direct and indirectpurchase
• Proactively drive innovative andforward looking supply strategy to support business requirement andevaluation.
• Manage and further develop theProcurement Team in different sites across India to meet definedstrategies plans and targets
• Support saletender by providing competitive supplier offer and incorporation ofback to back requirement from customercontract
• Work together with Quality Managementand relevant function on supplier qualification management anddevelopment according to purchasing procedures
• Participate actively in Budget and Forecastprocesses
• Participate in the elaboration ofStrategic Planning aligning strategies of supply to the objectivesof the business
• Responsible for cross functionRegional/Global Procurement Cooperation and communication toresolve problem effectively
• Execute companyProcurement Policy and Procedures to ensure PtPcompliance
• Fulfill other tasks assigned bymanagement
• Ready and Willing for extensivetravelling throughout India as shortnotice..

Education &Trainings: (Basic & Professional)

• A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in BusinessEngineering Supply Chain or related discipline or equivalent workexperience

Technical knowhow:

• Greater than 15 Yearsof work experience in a professional complex and internationalenvironment.
• Familiar with subcontracting andIndia crossregion supplier management
• Multidisciplinary approach and have experience in one or more areasof direct/indirect procurement.
• Knowledge indeveloping & negotiating contractual or SLA terms withvendors
• Knowledge in Strategic planning TCOTaxation and Logistics
• MS Office proficientexperience and knowledge to operateSAP

• Strategic thinkerwith excellent interpersonal communication presentation andfacilitation skills
• Attitude firm positioncommunication with different organizational levels flexibilityfocus on results agility people management
