Profile:- Performance Test Engineer

Experience:- 5+ years

Job Description:-
" Good experience in functional testing concept and handles complex feature testing
" Must have experience in coming up with customer aspect test scenarios for feature life cycle and testing.
" Ability to understand problems in software, isolate as needed and file a defect with clear/detailed instruction.
" Experience in solving complex functional automation challenges and track in maintaining high pass rate for automated tests and reduce maintenance.
" Excellent coding & Analytical skill in Java and must have experience in designing and writing JUnit tests.
" Work closely with scrum team (Products teams, Ops teams, Project Manager) to understanding feature requirement.
" Ability work and deliver in in-sprint cycle.
" Provide innovative and out-of-the box ideas to solve deep technical performance problems.
" Define strong & smart performance test strategy for various requirements by working closely with architects and development team.
" Design, automate, execute, analyze performance qualifications for Cloud products (core stack and micro-services), in private cloud and public clouds (AWS, GCP, and Azure) using best suitable frameworks and tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Dynatrace,Splunk etc., against apps built in Java on UNIX platform.
" Collaboration with various cross functional teams on daily basis or troubleshooting, release sign-offs and best practices
" Continuous learning and research to adopt latest technologies/processes and work with teams to implement them
" Assist in guiding the team to apply industry best practices for Performance Engineering/QA processes.
" Drive the goal of no critical performance issue in production to keep high availability for customers.
" Own the functional area and mentor junior team members as needed

Qualifications/ Skills:-
" B.S./M.S. Computer Science degree or similar
" 5+ years working experience in Performance Engineering/QA against Java/UNIX based core stack and micro services applications
" Good technical understanding of different lab environments & architecture and ability to troubleshoot complex stability, performance issues to identify potential root cause
" Very strong scripting background to automate performance qualifications
" Command over performance analysis and tools like JMeter, Load Runner, Dynatrace, Splunk etc
" Experience with public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure or GCP and experience working in private cloud.
" Research new emerging tools, adopt continues learning, best practice and enhance testing framework to make more efficient & improve quality
" Demonstrated ability to take initiative and run new processes in an existing team
" Follows good coding & automation standards
" Excellent verbal, written communication skills and good team player.
" Leadership skills to work cross dependent teams and drive to closure of the item.
