Role overview

• This role is a key position within a team responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the Mrald business. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation operational improvements in form of efficiencies &/or effectiveness &/or quality improvements.

• Work with key business stakeholders to build a continuous improvement environment/culture. Facilitate Lean/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions

• Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business process and identification of better ways of working

• Identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system

• Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls

• Actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance

• Use available information including patterns, trends, or missing pieces of data to make or facilitate decision making.

• Effectively present decision options, considering time criticality and potential roadblocks.

• Manage delivery of Specialty Insurance improvement initiatives.

• Work across global and regional teams to ensure commonality of understanding and objectives –i.e. local teams are focused on delivering against global imperatives, whilst those same global imperatives are shaped to reflect the business needs of the region.

Skills & experiences

Must have

 Certified Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt

• Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience in Insurance domain preferably in Specialty/International Commercial Insurance

 Minimum 3 - 4 years’ of experience in driving Continuous Improvement

 Business Process Re-engineering/ transformation/ innovation

 Hands on experience on Minitab, advanced knowledge on MS excel, MS Visio, MS Word & PowerPoint

 Knowledge in Robotics Process Automation (RPA)

 Six Sigma-Black belt, Six sigma tools application, Data Analytics

 Good Communication skills

Preferred

• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt

• Degree educated

• Worked as part of a change function (in either PM or BA type role)

• Ability to define, design functional specification, user stories and E2E process journeys for design and implementation

• Experience of London Markets specifically in the below functions

o Premium Processing

o Business Entity

o Insurer Broker Accounting (IBA)
