JobOverview:
Weare looking for a seasoned Pega UI/UXDeveloper with a minimum of 5 years of relevantexperience to join our team. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for creating and enhancing user interfaces andexperiences on the Pega platform. You will play a key role inbridging the gap between the user experience and business processesensuring seamless interaction between users and systems througheffective UI/UXdesigns.
KeyResponsibilities:
UI/UX Development: Design develop andimplement user interfaces using Pega UI components. Ensureconsistency usability and functionality across all Pegaapplications. Pega PlatformExpertise: Leverage Pega s design principles tocustomize and extend the platform s user interfaces in alignmentwith business requirements.Wireframing & Prototyping:Create wireframes mockups and prototypes to visualize workflowsuser journeys and interactions beforeimplementation. UXResearch: Conduct user research analyze userbehavior and derive actionable insights to inform designdecisions. ComponentDevelopment: Develop reusable UI components thatconform to design standards and integrate seamlessly with backendsystems.Collaboration: Work closely withproduct managers business analysts and backend developers to ensurea smooth and effective user experience in Pegaapplications. PerformanceOptimization: Enhance performance and responsivenessof the user interface by optimizing the frontendcode. UserTesting: Conduct usability tests and refine designsbased on feedback and test results.Accessibility & Compliance:Ensure compliance with industrystandard accessibility guidelines todeliver inclusive designs that cater to a diverse range ofusers.
KeyRequirements:
Experience: Minimum 5 years of handsonexperience in Pega UI/UX development.TechnicalSkills: Proficiency inPega 8.x or higher including thedesign and customization of UI components.Strong understanding of HTML5 CSS3JavaScript and frontend frameworks for enhancinguser interfaces. Expertise in designing forresponsive and adaptive interfaces fordifferent devices and browsers. Familiaritywith Agile methodologies and tools(e.g. JIRA Confluence). UX/UIDesign Skills: Strong graspof usercentered design principles witha deep understanding of humancomputer interaction(HCI). Proficiency in creatingwireframes mockups and prototypesusing tools like Figma Sketch or Adobe XD.Knowledge of usability testing andability to implement changes based on userfeedback. SoftSkills: Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills with the ability to workeffectively across departments. Attention todetail and an eye for aesthetic design.Strong analytical skills to interpret user needs and technicalconstraintseffectively.
PreferredQualifications:
Pega Certification: CSSA or CPBA witha focus on UI/UX development. Priorexperience working with Pega s Cosmos designsystem and UI kit. Experiencein building complex workflowapplications within Pega.Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG2.0) and how to incorporate these into UIdesigns.
