Senior Scientist

To conduct application research for the use of alumina, as well as hydrate in Refractory, Ceramics, Cables, Plastics, for enabling development and marketing of new products suitable for these applications and also to provide technical supports as per the customer’s requirements. APPLICATION RESEARCH 

1. Conduct application research on the use of Hindalco Alumina and Hydrate 

2. Provide technical support to Sales & Marketing personnel.

 DEVELOPMENT 

1. Identify future needs of the customers 

2. Develop suitable products with the help of Hindalco product group, meeting the customer requirement

3. Assist plant in commercializing the newly developed products.

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT 

1. Provide technical training to Sales & Marketing and plant personnel to enable knowledge-based interaction with the customers

CUSTOMER SERVICE 

1. Interact with various customers with respect to their applications

2. Assist plant / Sales & Marketing with respect to customer complaint settlement

EXPLORATORY RESEARCH 

1. Initiate long-term application research project in identified areas

Academic Qualification Required.

MTech (Ceramics, Materials Science. Knowledge on polymer science would be preferred)

Experience

2-3 years’ experience (working in refractory / ceramics). Experience in polymer, like cable would add value (not a mandatory requirement)
