Job Description Summary

Responsible for Environment, Health & Safety for Indore Site.

Job Description

  • Ensure all the environment related compliances.
  • Ensure Smooth operation of ETP, RO and MEE and comply consent requirements in ETP, RO and MEE operations.
  • Keep self-updated on regulatory guidelines and undergo required training for capability building.
  • Timely submission of correct application & legal return related to Environment.
  • Ensure smooth operation of Effluent Treatment Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant as per the compliance conditions.
  • Ensure smooth and timely operation of RO plant and MEE plant.
  • Ensure timely preventive maintenance of ETP, STP, RO and MEE plant.
  • Attend breakdown maintenance of ETP, STP, RO and MEE plant.
  • Maintain spares on attending the preventive and breakdown maintenance on time.
  • Maintain Hazardous Waste storage area.
  • Timely disposal of Hazardous waste as per Hazardous Waste rules.
  • Prepare, Implement & maintain the ISO 14001 plan in accordance with SOPs and ensure its compliance.
  • Support Health and Safety function
  • Authorize and inspect Work Permit at the plant and project. Highlight non-conformances and ensure closure of nonconformance identified (if any).
  • Ensure timely reporting of Environment, Health, and Safety Incident.
  • Carryout investigation and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive action (CAPA) in time bound manner.
  • Provide EHS trainings to company employees as per factory act, ISO 14001 SOPs requirements. Prepare and implement training calendar.
  • Handling of Quality Management related activities.

  • In-depth knowledge of MEE, RO, ETP & STP operations.
  • Experience in Environmental Related Compliances and licensing process.
  • Experience in implementation of ISO 14001
  • “B.Tech in “Chemical /Mechanical” / M.Sc in “Chemistry / Environment” with minimum 9 years of experience
  • Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety
