Overview:The SFCCBackend Devops role is critical to our organization as it isresponsible for enhancing and maintaining the backend functionalityof our Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. The role also plays apivotal part in implementing and optimizing DevOps processes toensure seamless deployment and efficientoperations.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Develop andmaintain backend functionalities in Salesforce Commerce Cloudplatform.
  • Implement and maintain DevOpsprocesses for automated build release anddeployment.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to gather and analyze requirements for backenddevelopment.
  • Write clean maintainable andefficient code for backend processes andfunctionalities.
  • Perform testing debugging andtroubleshooting of backend services andapplications.
  • Deploy and configure cloudinfrastructure using DevOps tools andmethodologies.
  • Monitor system performance andimplement enhancements to optimizeoperations.
  • Provide technical support andresolution for backendrelated issues.
  • Ensureadherence to coding standards best practices and securityguidelines.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies andcontribute to sprint planning reviews andretrospectives.
  • Document backend processesconfigurations and troubleshooting guides.
  • Stayupdated with the latest technologies and industry trends related tobackend development and DevOps.
  • Collaboratewith the frontend and fullstack development teams to integrate andoptimize overall platformperformance.
  • Contribute to continuousimprovement of development and deploymentprocesses.
  • Participate in oncall rotation forproduction support and incidentmanagement.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.
  • Minimum X years of experience inSalesforce Commerce Cloud backenddevelopment.
  • Proven expertise in DevOpspractices and tools such as Jenkins Docker Kubernetesetc.
  • Proficiency in Javascript Node.js andother relevant programminglanguages.
  • Experience with agile methodologiesand working in crossfunctional teams.
  • Indepthunderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deploymentprocesses.
  • Strong knowledge of cloudinfrastructure management andconfiguration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot andresolve complex backend issueseffectively.
  • Excellent communication andcollaboration skills to work effectively with diverseteams.
  • Certifications in Salesforce CommerceCloud and DevOps platforms would be aplus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in afastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Experiencein performance tuning optimization and scalability of backendsystems.
  • Strong problemsolving skills andattention to detail for reliable backendsolutions.
  • Ability to adapt to evolvingtechnologies and business needseffectively.
  • Commitment to continuous learningand professional development in backend and DevOpsdomains.
