Role Summary

Your role as a QA Automation Engineer is towrite scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading the SQA effort on major products / releases Responsible for creating test schedules, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidating, and reporting test results Responsible for using latest Microsoft technologies to design and maintain automation for existing and new products Set up test environments for automation activities Track test coverage and key metrics Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA processes and ensure repeatability Be a technology champion/mentor and work with others to effectively use new technology to build effective automation Interact with other departments to gather/understand business requirements. Ensures strong commitment to on-time, quality delivery of all projects and deliverables Must be assertive and willing to escalate issues when a project/task is negatively impacted

Qualification

B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or other engineering degree 3+ years experience working in SQA Test Engineer role on software development projects 3+ years experience in programming with C/C++/C# or Java Test Automation experience with GUI (HTTP/XML, JAVA, web services) and non-GUI applications (API, databases) Experience with RDBMS and SQL , SQL Server Preferred 3+ yrs of test automation experience using at least 1 commercial or open source test tool (Preferred Selenium, Ready API) Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, AZDO, JIRA, Confluence Experience working with distributed teams is a plus Experience with iterative development and agile methodologies Experience working with distributed teams
