The role requires proficiency in Catia V5 and asolid understanding of GD&T.
RolesandResponsibilities:
UtilizeCatia V5 to design parts surfaces sheet metal andassemblies.
Develop detailed 3Dmodels and 2D drawings for manufacturing andassembly.
Design and integratestructural parts composites sheet metal and plastic components forgalley systems.
Ensure designs meetall structural and performance requirements focusing on weightstrength and durability.
Applyknowledge of honeycomb composites and other composite materials indesign projects.
Design componentswith considerations for trim andfinishes.
Work on the design andintegration of trolleys inserts (such as ovens and beverage makers)and other galleyequipment.
Interpret and applyGD&T in design and manufacturingdocumentation.
Read and interpretengineering drawings and specificationsaccurately.
Collaborate withmanufacturing and quality teams to ensure designs are feasible andmeet all necessary standards.
Workclosely with crossfunctional teams including manufacturing qualityand project management to ensure seamless projectexecution.
Provide technical supportand guidance to junior engineers and other teammembers.

RequirementsProficiencyin Catia V5 (part design surface sheet metaldrafting and assemblyworkbenches).
Strong understandingof structural parts composites sheet metal and plasticcomponents.
Knowledge ofhoneycomb composites and theirapplications.
Proficient withGD&T (Geometric Dimensioning andTolerancing).
Experience withdrawing reading andinterpretation.
Familiarity withtrim andfinishes.
Knowledge oftrolley design and insertsused in galley systems.
Extensiveexperience and understanding of composites and their applicationsin structural and galleydesign.
Knowledge of sheet metal andits use in manufacturing and designprocesses.
Bachelor s degree inMechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a relatedfield.
25 years of experience incomposites design preferably in the aerospace or transportationindustry.
Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills.
Excellentcommunication and teamworkabilities.
