Kapoor & Associates is a consultancy firm, offering an entire range of services in all major areas of town planning, structural design, engineering, housing, exhibition, interior design, landscape architecture, port and valuation. We provide these services strictly according to the client’s requirement, for their total satisfaction. Our staff consisting of full time personnel includes Architects, Engineers & Decorators.The full time personnel are supplemented by specialists in the fields of economics management, marketing and statistics. The projects are developed keeping in mind the location and use of local construction methods, materials and skills. We believe in conscience related architecture. The design process is an enlightening course for the client and us to assimilate knowledge to develop built spaces with a holistic view. The success comes by engaging the client in critically examining various stages of design and construction of the space. Through research based informed decisions we deliver projects which provide wellbeing for all the stakeholders. By creating a sense of belonging among the users and the operators of the building we enable them to use the space in a sensible, efficient, environment friendly and socially profitable way. Our attempt is to remain critical to the deepest thought for a thought based intuitive design. The endeavor is to let the client have a self-contentment about creating the built space. The primary purpose of K&A is to develop and maintain the highest standards of professional practice. We accept only those engagements which we feel fully qualified to undertake. All the services in our organisation are rendered on strictly professional norms.

The Role

You will be responsible for :

  • Reviewing & Designing Architectural, Engineering & Interior Plans
  • Ensuring all plans are compliant with Government and Safety Regulations(NBC)
  • Researching and Maintaining knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods and materials.
  • Monitoring work of other Junior Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
  • Providing guidance to subcontractors like Builders, Plumbers and Electricians and helping them interpret design specifications.
  • Ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets
  • Acting as a mentor to new architects and helping them fine tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
  • Networking and connecting with various industry professionals
  • Make Working Drawings, Electrical Drawings, Plumbing Drawings, Submission Drawings, 3D Drawings, BOQ & Presentations.
  • Filing of Drawings as per office and client requirement
  • Site Visits
  • Direct and Indirect interactions with clients and other concern persons

Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 2 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Real Estate and Professional Services.
  • You possess excellent communication and influencing skills, are organised and able to multi-task effectively.
  • You are a strong mentor and coach who builds high performing teams
  • You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
