We're looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to Train our Internal Support Teams

Responsibilities 

Consult with stakeholders to define technical enablement needs; this is a shared responsibility with the training team as a whole Work with multiple teams, including engineering, product management, and support, to consolidate knowledge elements, review and validate the content and ensure training aligns with business requirements. Deliver technical training to internal Qualys employees  Produce high-quality technical courseware - presentations, videos, labs  Contribute to the success of our online and self-paced training  Manage training events - onsite and virtual classroom via WebEx/Zoom  Provide product support and assist students with technical and business-related issues  Work with the course development team to design, develop, maintain and deliver exceptional technical training materials in multiple modalities, including eLearning, videos, labs, and instructor-led classroom training  Develop your skills to become a subject matter expert on flagship products you create and deliver training for, address various Knowledge needs for the support organization with the prime responsibility of training Design, build and maintain virtual lab environments and associated lab guides to support technical training courses. Execute Onboarding plan for New hires in Qualys 

Skills and Experience 

Essential  

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English  5 years of working as Technical Support (or Technical Trainer) for an Enterprise Product Five years of working in an IT security product such as Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Management, SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), Firewall, UTMs, Compliance solutions, Networking, etc.  Experienced in building complex virtual environments  Experience in creating/modifying custom scripts  Experienced in working across multiple geographic regions  Excellent oral presentation, written communication skills  Ability to execute several parallel tasks and prioritize appropriately  Ability to adapt to recent technologies and learn quickly.  Experience in delivering training, both in-person and remotely  Received training certifications as Qualys Certified Specialist within the past year preferred.  Comprehension of IaaS providers such as AWS EC2, Microsoft Azure, and Google Compute Platform  Ability to adapt to recent technologies and learn quickly.  Must be based in Pune, India, or willing to relocate

Desirable  

Knowledge and/or experience using Qualys products  Knowledge about how Support Organizations run Experience in certification delivery, as part of an education program  Ability to understand the impact of decisions on other areas of the business  Experienced in building complex virtual environments  Experienced in creating/modifying custom scripts  Experience with adult learning theory  Experience with instructional design models
