Job Description

Arista Networks is seeking an experienced and dynamic Software Team Lead to provide technical direction and leadership in the design and development of Applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills in React and Golang and Python, coupled with exceptional leadership capabilities. This role involves leading a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality products that align with business goals and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment. Plan, coordinate, and oversee software development projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with uncompromised performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality products. Utilize advanced programming skills to contribute to the development of scalable and robust software applications. Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate into development processes. Develop and implement strategies to improve software development processes and enhance product performance. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals. Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from a four-year college or university or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 7-10 years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a software development team. Proficiency in React and Golang. Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with cloud services and CI/CD pipelines. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a software development team.
