  • 4 to 6 years ofexperience in Teradata core and applicationDBA.
  • Extensive handson experience in setting upthe Structure Database User role profiles Space as per Teradatabest practices.
  • Experience in SUSE LinuxNetbackup and EMC datadomain systemadministration.
  • Extensive experience withTeradata upgrade like DBS Version Floorsweep.
  • Experience in database cloning DisasterRecovery Workload management Down AMPrecovery.
  • Handson experience on Utilities likeShowspace Showlocks Packdisk Checktable Scandisk TSTSQLVprocmanager Config etc.
  • Handson experience inBackup Restore and Data copy using Datamover FEML ARCMAIN DSAetc.
  • Perform security audits which includesdesigning and implementing IPFiltering Gatewaysecurity.
  • Perform capacity planning andforecasting.
  • Maintain workload management(TASM) to appropriately match the current requirement and makingchanges to workload based on new requirement for the bettermanagement of the system.
  • Generating TSETreport for day to day Teradata incidents and also importing datademographics/Stats using TSET.
  • Exceptionalknowledge on DBS control parameters.
  • Buildingthe Teradata DR systems by cloning the production environment andautomation of DR synchronization process based on givenRPO/RTO.
  • Creating and managing Data LABS &deploying UDFs (SHA Oracle java) on userrequest.
  • Implementing and reviewing theACL/Firewall rules to ensure required security rules inplace.
