JobSummary:The MedicalTranscriptionist is responsible for accurately transcribing medicalrecords dictated by healthcare professionals into written reports.This position requires a high level of attention to detailproficiency in medical terminology and adherence to confidentialityand privacy standards. The Medical Transcriptionist plays acritical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patientrecords contributing to the delivery of quality healthcareservices.

Transcribe medical reports summaries office visit notes and othermedical documents from recorded messages from healthcareproviders Provide online copies oftranscribed documents to physicians or other providers for reviewand signature making corrections or changes asnoted Be familiar with proper grammarspelling and sentence structure as well as medical jargon andabbreviations for accuracy Preparecorrespondence summaries research and other administrative reportsnot directly related to patient care to assist the medicalteam Work with transcription equipment thatcan include speech recognition equipment word processing andcomputer software medical references and othertechnologies. Maintain strict adherence topatient confidentiality according to provider standards andgovernment regulations Review transcriptiondocuments for quality assurance and precision to spot and correctany errors that could impact patient care and medicalliability Create templates and enter datainto electronic health record (EHR) systems for updatedrecordkeeping and archives. Minimum 2 yearsworking experience as a Medical TranscriptionEditor.
Capableof delivering a minimum of 1200 editing lines per day with anaccuracy of99%.
