  • 4 to 7 years ofexperiencerequired
  • BE/ BTech preferablywith strong curriculum in ComputerSciences
  • High proficiency inprogramming and software design in J2EE and related technologies(JSP Spring ServletsHibernate)
  • Experience in workingwith AWS isMANDATORY
  • Experience withDrools is aPlus


Job Description : Position: Security Analyst -L3 Location : Hyderabad Experience : 6+ yearsof SOC-related work experience Job responsibilities : - Monitor,analyze, and interpret security/system logs for events, operationalirregularities, and potential incidents, and escalate issues asappropriate - Gather, analyze, and disseminate threat intelligencefrom various internal and external sources. - Conduct proactivethreat hunting activities to identify advanced threats that mayevade existing security controls - Support malware analysis, hostand network, log analysis, triage in support of incident responseand coordinating with internal & external stakeholders tocontain and remediate threats - Responsible for monitoring,detection of analysis through various input tools and systems(SIEM, IDS / IPS, Firewalls, EDR, etc.) - Conduct basic red teamexercises to test the effectiveness of preventive and monitoringcontrols - Provides support for complex system/network exploitationand defense techniques to include deterring, identifying, andinvestigating system and network intrusions - Maintaining andimproving the security technologies deployed, including creatinguse cases, customizing or better configuring the tools based onpast and current threats - Monitoring threat/vulnerabilitylandscape, security advisories, and acting on them as appropriate -Continuously monitors the security alerts and escalation queue,triages security alerts - Monitoring and tuning SIEM (content,parsing, maintenance) - Monitoring Cloud infrastructure forsecurity-related events - Delivers scheduled and ad-hoc reports -Develop and coach L1/L2 analysts - Author Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs) and training documentation - Work the full ticketlifecycle; handle every step of the alert, from detection toremediation - Generates end-of-shift reports for documentation andknowledge transfer to subsequent analysts on duty - Performthreat-intel research, learn new attack patterns, activelyparticipate in security forums. Qualification : - Bachelor's degreein Engineering or closely related coursework in technologydevelopment disciplines - Certifications like CISSP, CEH, CISM,GCIH, GCIA are desirable - Experience with the following or relatedtools : SIEM Tools such as Splunk, IBM QRadar, Securonix; CaseManagement Tools such as Swimlane, Phantom, etc.; EDR tools such asCrowdstrike, Sentinel, VMware, McAfee, Microsoft Defender ATP, etc;Network Analysis Tools such as Darktrace, FireEye, NetWitness,Panorama, etc. Desired Skills : - Full understanding of SOC L1, L2responsibilities/duties and how the duties feed into L3. Theability to take lead on incident research when appropriate and beable to mentor junior analysts. - Advanced knowledge of TCP/IPprotocols and event log analysis - Strong understanding of Windows,Linux and networking concepts - Experience analyzing both log andpacket data to include the use of WireShark, tcpdump and othercapture/analysis tools - Good understanding of security solutionsincluding SIEMs, Web Proxies, EDR, Firewalls, VPN, authentication,encryption, IPS/IDS etc. - Functional understanding of Cloudenvironments - Ability to conduct research into IT security issuesand products as required - Working in a TAT based IT securityincident resolution practice and knowledge of ITIL - Knowledge andexperience with scripting and programming (Python, PERL, etc.) arealso highly preferred - Malware analysis and reverse engineering isa plus
