Requirements

Weare seeking a highly skilled Application Security Engineer with 58years of experience in security testing application development andsecurity management phases. The ideal candidate should have a deepunderstanding of application vulnerabilities code review processesand infrastructure management. This role involves integratingsecurity tools into DevOps working with CI/CD processes andimplementing both SAST and DAST solutions to enhance applicationsecurity across variousenvironments.

KeyResponsibilities:
  • Conductcomprehensive security assessments testing and vulnerabilitymanagement across all phases of the applicationlifecycle.
  • Perform handsonmanagement and execution of DAST solutions such as Web Inspect andAppScan and SAST solutions like Checkmarx andFortify.
  • Execute code reviews forapplications built in .NET Java Swift and ObjectiveC to identifyand mitigatevulnerabilities.
  • Integrate securitytools within DevOps pipelines and manage CI/CD toolsets (e.g.TeamCity Bamboo Jenkins Chef PuppetSelenium).
  • Leverage cloudenvironments and deployment solutions including serverlesscomputing to implement and manage securitycontrols.
  • Conduct penetrationtesting for web desktop and mobileapplications.
  • Manage applicationcontainers (e.g. Docker and Kubernetes) to enforce and monitorsecurity.
  • Analyze and interpretqualitative and quantitative data from security services tools andmonitoring techniques to drive application securityinsights.
  • Apply knowledge ofvulnerability scoring standards (e.g. CVSS) to assess andcommunicate risk impact.
  • Automatesecurity processes and conduct complex searches using scriptinglanguages.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a relatedtechnical field (preferred).
  • 58years of experience in application security development testing andmanagement.
  • Solid understanding ofOWASP Top 10 SANS Secure Programming and Security Engineeringprinciples.
  • Practical experiencewith DAST and SAST tools including installation configuration andmanagement.
  • Strong analytical andinvestigative problemsolvingskills.
  • Handson experience in CI/CDenvironments and cloud platforms with knowledge of serverlessarchitectures.
  • Proficient in atleast one CI/CD toolset (e.g. Jenkins TeamCity Bamboo Chef PuppetSelenium).
  • Experience withapplication containers (Docker Kubernetes) and security for mobiledesktop and webapplications.
  • Knowledge of scriptinglanguages forautomation.
Preferred:
  • Experiencein application monitoring and managed services specifically inDevOps threat and vulnerability management and threatmodeling.
  • Indepth knowledge ofsecurity essentials including networking concepts defensivestrategies and current securitytechnologies.
  • Certifications inrelevant areas such as ISC2 CSSLP SANS Secure Coding OSCP WebApplication Security or SecurityEngineering.
Skills:
  • Proficiencyin security testing tools andmethodologies.
  • Strong oral andwritten communicationskills.
  • Excellent research skillswith an ability to identify and categorize securitythreats.
