Overview:As a NetworkEngineer at Breezitech you will play a crucial role in designingimplementing and maintaining the organizations networkinfrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrityand reliability of the companys data and voice services as well asproviding technical support to internalteams.KeyResponsibilities:

• Designing andimplementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiencyof current networks.
• Installing configuring andsupporting network equipment including routers proxy serversswitches WAN accelerators DNS andDHCP.
• Establishing networking environment bydesigning system configuration directing system installationdefining documenting and enforcing systemstandards.
• Maximizing network performance bymonitoring performance troubleshooting network problems and outagesscheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects onnetwork optimization.
• Securing network systemsby establishing and enforcing policies defining and monitoringaccess.
• Reporting network operational status bygathering and prioritizing information and managingprojects.
• Upgrading data network equipment tothe latest stable firmware releases.
• Conferringwith project managers to prioritize needs and resolve conflictsbetween infrastructure and developmentneeds.
• Supporting and administering firewallenvironments in line with IT securitypolicy.
• Replacement of faulty network hardwarecomponents when required.
• Maintaining inventoryof equipment.
• Identifying potential risks andresolving issues and documenting the networksarchitecture.
• Upgrading network by conferringwith vendors developing testing evaluating and installingenhancements.
• Securing network by developingnetwork access monitoring control and evaluation maintainingdocumentation.
• Performing network maintenanceand system upgrades including service packs patches hotfixes andsecurity configurations.

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Technology or relatedfield.
• Certifications such as Cisco CertifiedNetwork Professional (CCNP).
• A minimum of 5years experience in network engineering or a relatedfield.
• Experience with network management andanalysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of networkingprotocols such as TCP/IP DNS DHCP and LAN/WANtechnologies.
• Experience with firewallsInternet VPNs remote implementation troubleshooting and problemresolution.
• Capability to configure and installvarious network devices and services (e.g. routers switchesfirewalls load balancers VPN QoS).
• Excellentunderstanding of networking and security bestpractices.
• Ability to work under pressure andmultitask in a fastpaced environment.
• Strongproblemsolving skills and the ability to work independently as wellas in a team.
• Experience with virtualizationand cloud services is a plus.
• Knowledge of VoIPand SIP trunking is preferred.
• Strongcommunication and interpersonalskills.
• Knowledge of network capacity planningnetwork security principles and general network management bestpractices.
• Experience in telecommunicationengineering is aplus.
