Job Summary
The R&D Test Lab Manager will oversee the daily operations of our testing laboratory where we test our equipment to real life field conditions by applying pressure, temperature and mechanical loads. This role involves managing lab staff, ensuring quality control, implementing and improving testing procedures, and maintaining a safe and effective lab environment.
Job Description
Safety: Ensure safe operations and working conditions at all times Manage Lab Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the lab, ensuring all activities are compliant with safety and quality standards. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage R&D test lab team. Schedule and delegate tasks to ensure efficient lab operations. Test Development: Develop and implement new testing procedures and protocols in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Quality Control: Ensure all testing is carried out to the highest quality standards. Implement and maintain quality control procedures. Reporting: Prepare and present reports on lab activities, test results, and research findings to senior management and stakeholders. Budget Management: Manage the lab budget, including procurement of lab equipment and supplies. Efficient operations: Apply Lean philosophies to ensure efficiency in operationsYou are meant for this job if:
You have
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a lab/engineering environment Excellent leadership and team management skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBeing a global leader in the energy industry requires an inclusive and diverse environment.
