You will be part of Engineering team of FLSmidth Mining Digital Service. Here you will play a key role in the preparation of engineering drawings for Electrical and Automation systems in coordination with the global product and execution team. You can look forward to exciting workdays where you are constantly required to adjust yourself to changing conditions, different cultures, challenges, and priorities, inspiring you to grow personally and professionally.
Role
Your overall objective is to deliver project drawings in time with required quality. Software tools used: ACAD and E-Plan. You need to coordinate and communicate with group of engineers, project managers to deliver the required documents / drawings. Shall be working with Global team with varied time zones.
Your responsibilities
Delivering Electrical & Automation Drawings : As a drafter, your primary responsibility is to create accurate and detailed electrical and automation drawings. These drawings are essential for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in various projects.
Day-to-Day Interaction with Cross-Cultural Project Teams : You’ll collaborate with project teams from different cultural backgrounds. Effective communication and understanding of diverse perspectives are crucial for successful project execution.
Standardization of Drawing Templates & Designs : You’ll contribute to maintaining consistency by standardizing drawing templates and designs. This ensures uniformity across projects and facilitates efficient workflows.
What you bring
Good understanding of Electrical and Instrument Design, Engineering tools, and software.
Knowledge of international standards.
Previous experience in handling Electrical and Instrumentation projects for Global mining clients.
Experience working with Digital solutions for mining (e.g., Process control system, Process optimization system, Condition monitoring system) is advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for international client interactions.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree/ Diploma from a reputed University specializing in Electrical and Instrument Engineering.
Experience
3+ years of experience in handling Electrical and Instrumentation projects for Global mining clients
