We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Relations Officer to join our team at JobStars HR Solutions Pvt Ltd. As a Patient Relations Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care and satisfaction. This is a full-time position based in Cochin, Kerala, India.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Empathy, compassion, and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of healthcare processes
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with patient billing and insurance procedures
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare guidelines and regulations


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Ensure a patient-centric approach by communicating effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare providers
  • Address any patient concerns, complaints, or inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with medical staff and other hospital departments to resolve patient issues and improve the quality of care
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
  • Coordinate patient appointments, admissions, and discharges
  • Assist with patient billing and insurance-related matters
  • Serve as a liaison between patients and hospital administration
  • Participate in training programs to enhance patient relations skills
  • Stay updated with relevant healthcare guidelines and regulations
  • Contribute to the overall patient experience and satisfaction
