They areresponsible for designing developing and maintaining Tableaudashboards reports and visualizations to facilitate datadrivendecisionmaking and enhance businessoperations.Keyresponsibilities
  • Collaborate withstakeholders to understand data requirements and translate theminto Tableau visualizations.
  • Developinteractive and userfriendly Tableau dashboards and reports todisplay insights.
  • Utilize SQL and other datamanipulation tools to extract and prepare data forvisualization.
  • Perform data analysis toidentify trends patterns and insights within thedata.
  • Work on data blending and data modelingto create meaningful visualizations.
  • Implementbest practices for data visualization and dashboard design toensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Conductperformance tuning to optimize the Tableau dashboards for efficientusage.
  • Provide technical support and trainingto end users on Tableau usage andfeatures.
  • Collaborate with the data team toensure data integrity and consistency in Tableauvisualizations.
  • Stay updated with the latestTableau features and enhancements to incorporate them into theexisting solutions.
  • Create and maintaindocumentation for Tableau solutions andprocesses.
  • Participate in quality assurance andtesting of Tableau dashboards andreports.
  • Communicate effectively withcrossfunctional teams to gather requirements andfeedback.
  • Contribute to the continuousimprovement of data visualization practices and standards withinthe organization.
Requiredqualifications
  • Bachelors degree inComputer Science Information Systems or a relatedfield.
  • Proven experience as a Tableau Developeror in a similar role with expertise in datavisualization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency inTableau Desktop Tableau Server and relatedtools.
  • Strong understanding of SQL for dataextraction and manipulation.
  • Experience increating interactive and visually appealing Tableau dashboards andreports.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing conceptsand dimensional modeling.
  • Ability to interpretand translate complex data into insightfulvisualizations.
  • Excellent analytical andproblemsolving skills with a keen attention todetail.
  • Proficiency in data interpretation andstorytelling through visualization.
  • Goodunderstanding of best practices in data visualization and dashboarddesign.
  • Strong communication and collaborationskills to work effectively with various teams andstakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and managemultiple tasks in a dynamic workenvironment.
  • Experience in performance tuningand optimizing Tableau dashboards for enhancedefficiency.
  • Familiarity with other BI tools andtechnologies is a plus.
  • Certification inTableau is highlydesirable.
